Authors

“David Means has long been acknowledged as a present-day past-master of the short story.” – New York Journal of Books

“Sidik Fofana’s debut story collection set in an apartment building in Harlem offers a hold-no-punches glimpse into a place that, despite its marginalization, thrives on its own terms.” – Southern Review of Books

“Woodson’s writing stuck with me. There was something about the way she cut to the core of a narrative using the fewest words possible — but always the right words.” – Nic Stone, The Washington Post

“Carrera’s prose style, which reflects back the surrealism of the Beat poets and the compositions of John Cage, makes his debut novel an exciting start to a writing career rooted in sonic experimentation.”  – Chicago Review of Books
