Talent
Mimi Rogers is an American actress known for film and television roles in The Rapture, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Bosch, and Mad Men. Her career spans drama, comedy, and thriller projects across film, network television, and streaming series.
Mishel Prada is an American actress best known for starring as Emma Hernandez in the Starz drama series Vida and for playing Detective KD Silva in The Continental: From the World of John Wick. She also appeared in Riverdale as Hermosa Lodge and in the web series Fear the Walking Dead: Passage.
Constance Marie is an American actress best known for playing Angie Lopez on George Lopez and Regina Vasquez on Switched at Birth. She also appeared in the movie Selena. Before acting, she worked as a dancer.
Authors
Michelle Latiolais is the author of the novel She: Fiction; Widow, a collection of stories shortlisted for The Believer Book Award; the novel A Proper Knowledge; and the novel Even Now, which received the Gold Medal for Fiction from the Commonwealth Club of California. She is a Professor of English at the University of California at Irvine where she co-directs the Programs In Writing. She lives in Los Angeles.
Carribean Fragoza is an American journalist, writer, and artist. She is the founder and co-director of the arts collective, South El Monte Art Posse. In 2023, she received a Whiting Award for her short story collection Eat the Mouth That Feeds You.
Dominica Phetteplace is a writer and futurist. Her honors include a MacDowell Fellowship, two Pushcart Prizes and a Rona Jaffe Award. Her work has appeared in Ecotone, Copper Nickel, PANK, The Los Angeles Review, Zyzzyva, Wigleaf, Best Microfiction, and The Year’s Best Science Fiction and Fantasy.
Toni Ann Johnson is an American writer and screenwriter. She won the Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction for her 2021 story collection Light Skin Gone to Waste. Her newest book, But Where’s Home? (2026) won the 2024 Screen Door Press Fiction Prize.
Lisa Alvarez’s poetry and prose have appeared in journals including Citric Acid, Huizache & Santa Monica Review. A professor of English at Irvine Valley College, she co-directs the writers’ workshops at the Community of Writers in California’s High Sierra in the summers. Her debut collection, Some Final Beauty and Other Stories, was published in August 2025.
